I work where disciplines, cultures, and ways of knowing collide.
Abandoned as an infant in Kathmandu and adopted at two years old, I grew up moving across countries, cultures, languages, and ways of understanding the world. Long before I had language for it, my life was already asking me to make sense of very different systems at once.
That knowing now sits at the center of my work. I move between neuroscience, psychedelic research, Indigenous knowledge systems, ethics, education, and institution building, drawn especially to questions that become distorted when they are forced into a single discipline.
I have learned in laboratories and clinical settings, but also through fieldwork, traditional healing systems, rural communities, and relationships built across cultures. My work is ultimately an extension of the same question that has followed me throughout my life: how do we bring different worlds into true relationship without reducing the implicit infinite complexity?

THE QUESTIONS I CARE ABOUT HAVE NEVER BELONGED TO ONE DISCIPLINE.
My work is rooted in integration: scientific rigor without reducing the world to what science alone can measure, respect for traditional knowledge without romanticizing it, and ethics built into the architecture of the work from the beginning. I’m interested in what becomes possible when different ways of knowing are allowed to challenge, refine, and strengthen one another.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the world is infinitely complex
Understanding requires humility, curiosity, and the courage to seek truth beyond what is comfortable or familiar.
I believe in truth without convenience, integrity without performance, radical transparency, reciprocity, and human connection. I believe rigor and humility belong together, that knowledge carries responsibility, and that relationships matter as much as outcomes.
Above all, I believe the way we pursue truth matters just as much as what we ultimately discover.

I didn’t learn to see the world from one institution, discipline, or place. My education has been shaped by moving between radically different environments — and learning to hold what each reveals.

Neurochemistry, neuropsychopharmacology, psychedelic research, and interdisciplinary scientific inquiry.
CLINICS + MEDICINE
Learning alongside physicians and patients in rural clinical environments where medicine is immediate, relational, and human.
FIELDWORK + TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE
Working across the Amazon, Andes, Central America, and Southern Africa alongside healers, researchers, farmers, wisdom keepers, and communities whose ways of understanding health extend far beyond Western institutions.
